Traveling w/ family (g-parents, husband, 4 and 2 y/o) 2 y/o will be a month shy of 3, he is free for a lot of things, but does he get any "freebies" that come w/ our magic your way tickets and dining plan? Magic Band/lugg tag, refill cup, etc?

    Hi, Megan!

You will be happy to know that any guests under the age of 3 will not require a theme park ticket, so that is a huge savings! Once kids are age 3, they will need a child ticket (ages 3-9). Once kids are 10, they are considered adults for tickets and dining.

Although your 2 year old will not require a park ticket, you will still want to include him when making your Disney Resort hotel reservations so he can receive a MagicBand. He will not need  FastPass+ selections, as he will simply enter with you. It is so fun to be Junior Mouseketeer and tag along with Mom and Dad!

Your 2 year old will not have any Disney Dining Plan entitlements, but he is welcome to share from your plate at  no extra charge. If you prefer to purchase him his own meal, you will be charged at menu price. He will also not receive the refillable mug (since he is not on the Dining Plan) but he can share yours or you can purchase one so he can have his own (about $17 for length of stay, price subject to change).

When making your Dining Reservations, make the reservation for your entire party, regardless of how you want to split the check or if your son is only 2. This way, you will have a table waiting that is big enough for whole party. Your server will be happy to split checks, apply dining credits, or add on meals to your check as needed.

Have a great family vacation in Walt Disney World and please say "HI" to Mickey Mouse for me!
