We are traveling to DW in Feb 2016. We are staying at Disney Hotel 4 days (3 nights) & then off site for remainder. Can I make my dining reservations 180 days in advance (for all 8 days) at once since we are staying at Disney hotel initially?

Hi, Lisa! As a Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you have the fantastic benefit of being able to make up to 10 days of Advanced Dining Reservations once your booking window opens 180 days before your check-in date. However, the "+10 window" will only cover the dates that you are staying in your Resort hotel, not any dates in which you are staying at an off-site hotel.

Let's go over an example of how this would work. Say that you check-in to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel on February 13, 2016, and transfer on February 16, 2016, to an off-site hotel. Your 180-day Advanced Dining Reservation window will open on August 17, 2015. You will notice at that time that you will be able to reserve dining experiences for all days that you will be staying on-property, which would be February 13-16, 2016. To complete Advance Dining Reservations for the remaining days of your vacation, you will need to make them one at a time, as each day becomes 180 days away. Please note that your FastPass+ windows will run the same way. You will be able to make FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance of your check-in date for only the four days you are staying on-property. The remainder of your days will be subject to a 30-day window.

Please let me know if you have any further questions about this works, Lisa. I hope you have a magical day!
