    Courtney Asked

We are traveling down to Disney World in October with my mother-in-law who has a hard time standing and walking for long periods of time. We plan on renting her a scooter for the day, but are wondering if there is anything we can do about long lines? Help!

    Hello there Courtney!

I have taken a few trips to Walt Disney World with my father and he has required a wheelchair each time. Traveling around the parks is not quite as problematic as you would think, especially since your mother-in-law will be renting a motorized scooter. All of the rides at the parks have wheelchair access and most offer an alternative entrance, which makes it easier for you and your mother-in-law to enjoy the rides. When you arrive, make sure to go by Guest Services to pick up a mobility guide to the parks.

Thank you so much for asking the Moms Panel! I hope you have a fantastic vacation with your family!
