Greetings, Ashley! I am so excited to hear about your “Kindermoon” birthday celebration! Your daughter is about to experience REAL magic and I just know it will bring smiles to your face. My son was about the same age when he visited for the first time!
There are a few fun things you can do to celebrate a birthday that will bring lots of fanfare! When you check into your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, ask the Front Desk for a birthday button. Write the birthday girl’s name on it in Sharpie and cover with a small piece of tape and don it everyday for birthday wishes from guests and Cast Members all trip long. Next, when you make it into your room, press the “Front Desk” button on your room phone, and ask the Cast Member to help you arrange a special Birthday call with Goofy! Make sure you have your phone all ready to tape the magic play out on speakerphone!
If you have any Table Service reservations planned, you may ask your server if they have any birthday desserts! Occasionally, there may be a small cupcake doled out to birthday guests, along with a song! Personally, our family likes to take our birthday celebrate-ers to the
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor for a Mickey Kitchen sink. As you can tell, we are Ice Cream people!
Lastly, there is a magical room celebration and special gift idea that
Disney Floral and Gifts offers. Anything from a small cake, balloons or as extravagant as a room decoration kit can help kick your party up a notch, with plenty of special items to take home with you. Personally, I love my Minnie tote that came stuffed with tons of surprises from my husband. I hope you and your family have a magical vacation, and please let me know if there is anything else I can do to make your trip special! ~ Lindsey P.
