Hello, We are traveling to Disneyworld in April for the Cheerleading Worlds competition. We are required to book our stay through the competition company. Once we have booked our trip, can we add the dining plan to this reservation?

    Hi Ashley,

Thank you for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How awesome that you will visiting for the Cheerleading World Competition next April. I am sure that it will be an exciting time!

I had the opportunity to work and play as a ConventionEAR in numerous occasions, as well as visit the resort with group reservations. These typically must be booked directly with the company itself, or via Walt Disney World Resort group reservations. The company or group organizer set up what options would be available for the special rate, including the options for Dining Plan. You would need to verify with them if this is an option.

Some of the other Disney Resort Hotel Guest benefits may vary depending on how the group organizer manages the reservations. Some groups travel together and do not take advantage of Disney's Magical Express, but if you travel on your own, you will definitely be eligible. Finally, groups typically have access to special group Theme Park Tickets. Once you purchase them and link them, you will be able to make FastPass+ selections.

One last tip: remember to download the My Disney Experience mobile app ahead of time, so you will be ready to manage all aspects of your reservation quickly and easily. Happy planning!
