I am traveling to Disneyland later this month as a breast feeding mom, but will not have my baby with me. I will pump at the baby center, but wanted to know where I could store my pump and milk while I'm there.

    Dear Sarah,

From one breastfeeding mom to another-- I understand all the planning and organization that goes into keeping a pumping schedule, storing the milk and still finding a way to balance all other aspects of life.
    Proud of you, mama!
I'm glad you're making a trip to the Disneyland Resort where you can take care of mommy duties and have a magical time while you're at it.

The Baby Care Center provides a very comfortable space to pump milk but at this time, there aren't any places to store milk, per se.
    So here's what I recommend--
Bring a cooler with you to the Disneyland Park.
Rent a locker for the day (one that's big enough to store your cooler. There are currently five locker rental options).
Every time you finish pumping at the Baby Care Center, stop across the way at the Carnation Cafe and pick up a cup of ice that will help keep the milk cold in the cooler, inside your locker.

Even though it may seem like a lot of walking to and from the Baby Care Center and locker room, I know you'll agree it's no big deal when it comes to following your body's cues and saving the milk for baby.

Plus, you may catch the Dapper Dans during one of those walks!

    I hope this helps.

Have fun and enjoy the Happiest Place on Earth!
