I will be traveling to Disney World in October with my mother who is 73 years old and has breathing difficulties. Does Disney World provide any special passes that would allow her to skip lines due to her condition?

    Hi Keith,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How wonderful to plan a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort with your mother!

Thankfully, the Walt Disney World Resort offers a variety of Services for Guests With Disabilities. One of the services that could be helpful for your mom is the Disability Access Service. To register your mom for this service, you will need to stop by Guest Relations when you enter a theme park. Once your mom is registered for the Disability Access Service, you can approach a cast member at a ride or attraction, explain that your mom has disability access service and request a return time for the ride.

My husband has used the Disability Access Service in the past and it was a lifesaver. Although we were not able to use the Disability Access Service at every ride and attraction, we were able to use it at most. The girls and I were allowed to ride with him and we were able to use it in addition to our regular Fast Pass+ selections.

Keith, I am so glad you asked this question. My husband's disability is still relatively new for him and having the Disability Access Service allowed him to enjoy the entire vacation with us. It is simply amazing and we were so grateful.

I am sending pixie dust your way trusting that this will be such a special trip with your mother.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
