    Maryann from PA Asked

We are traveling to Disney World at the end of October. A few people in our party are larger than average. Are there rides with weight restrictions?

Hello Maryann and thank you for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such an important question about your upcoming October trip to Walt Disney World Resort.
As a lady of mostly Pooh sized proportions myself I can totally relate to your question as it can be an added concern for me when visiting theme parks or even travelling per se.
I'd like to reassure you and your fellow Disney travel companions that thanks to the clever imagineers and their wonderful Attraction designs I've never personally incurred an issue whilst visiting Walt Disney World Resort.
To the best of my knowledge there are no set weight restrictions for Disney Theme Park Attractions. However Disney do indeed provide Guests with individual Attraction restrictions and I'm happy to share that it's possible to check out those online via Disney.go.com for each Attraction for height, age, thrill level and accessibility.
In addition to this before entering a line for a Disney Attraction you will see a sign with detailed safety restrictions and ride guidelines and of course as Cast Members are simply Wild About Safety they can also provide Guests with answers to any specific Attraction concerns.
Wishing you a magical October visit to Walt Disney World Resort where I'm sure you'll create some unforgettable memories which are sure to last an entire lifetime.
    Have a great Disney day.
