We are traveling to Disney World in December to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with 22 family members, including our 4 granddaughters 8 and under. Can you suggest a budget minded special dinner we can all attend? Thank you for your help.

    Welcome Grace,

Let me first say a Happy Early Wedding Anniversary to you and your husband. It warms my heart to see you and your family coming together for such a special celebration and to spend it at Walt Disney World seems like a perfect dream come true.

With so many family coming together and wanting to spend this magical moment with you, my first recommendation is 'Ohana's. Located at Disney's Polynesian Resort, 'Ohana means family and this tropical retreat serves up savory all-you-can-eat family-style polynesian cuisines. The decor and ambience will make the adults feel like they are out for a special night and yet your granddaughters will be entertained with fun games and dances all created around the island magic.

Or consider visiting the Biergarten Restaurant, located at Epcot World Showcase in Germany. This ever so entertaining, family-style table seating serves up a buffet of authentic German food that will make you think you are truly there. You and your loved ones will be treated to an evening of Oktoberfest performers and loads of Oompah fun.

And finally, for a backyard, yee-hawing, down right, good old time look into Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. This dinner show is located at Disney Fort Wilderness Resort and is an evening of singing, dancing and good old family fun. Your family will dine on a feast of all-you-can-eat barbecue, fried chicken, cornbread and so many other traditional down home cooked foods.

I am so excited for your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World and know it will be magical and memorable. If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask.
