Mom And Daughter Resort Room

We are traveling to Disney for a 2nd time in one year and therefore, we were told we should ask for a closer room to the shuttle pickup when we check in (staying at CBR). Do they really honor requests like that at check-in and if so, who would we ask?

    Aimee,

The first place you should request that is when making your initial reservation. Then you can also do it via the online check-in process that you can do within 10 days of arrival. That online service is well worth doing, even if you don't have special requests, as it expedites your arrival experience!

Finally, when you check in, if the room does not meet that request, ask the desk clerk to check and see if there are other rooms available that would. I have had the regular desk clerks do this, as well as the ones working at the online resort check-in counter too. They can often help adjust your room location, as based on your needs, and availability.

And yes, they are good about honoring such requests, whenever possible. Just never come to expect that you will get all that you ask for, simply because there are typically a lot of other guests making similar requests, and they can't honor all requests.

    Have a magical vacation!
