I will be traveling to Disney in September and my 4 year old has bad asthma. He can't stand out in the heat for long periods of time or it will cause an attack. How can I make this trip fun when dealing with long lines like Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh?

    Hi there Jill!

During your September visit to Walt Disney World with your young Prince, be sure to take full advantage of Disney's FASTPASS Service. Using this system will allow you to have pre-determined times (windows of time) in which to visit those attractions with the longest, outdoor waits. Both The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh and Peter Pan's Flight offer FASTPASS and it will save you loads of time in the heat.

On the day of your visit to Magic Kingdom, be sure to make Peter Pan's Flight your first stop to pick up a FASTPASS. While you wait for your ride time to come up, enjoy some cool, indoor attractions. A few great ones to consider include "it's a small world," Pirates of the Caribbean, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and The Tiki Room. These attractions take place indoors and have quick moving, indoor queues.

I've included a link for you that explains all about how Disney FASTPASS Service works.

As soon as your FASTPASS to Peter Pan says you can do so (look for the 'Another FASTPASS is available after...' notation on the bottom) head over to Winnie The Pooh to pick up a FASTPASS for that attraction as well. Other attractions for which you'll enjoy the benefits of FASTPASS include Dumbo The Flying Elephant and Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid.

If you have additional questions about Disney's FASTPASS service, or would like more tips and recommendations for your upcoming visit, please feel free to visit again. I'd love to hear from you!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
