We are traveling to Disney in October 2011 for our 3 year old daughter's first visit! What resort would you recommend? We want to stay somewhere that is centrally located so we can walk to places at night. Any suggestions??

    Hi Ashleigh,

You must be very excited about your daughter's first trip to Walt Disney World.  If you want to stay in a resort that affords you walking access to several of Disney's theme parks, the Boardwalk Inn, Beach Club, and Yacht Club are excellent options.  These are within just a few minutes' walk to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

If, however, you would prefer to be within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom, Disney's Contemporary Resort would be a better choice.  I would imagine that the Magic Kingdom would have special appeal to a three-year-old so having proximity to this theme park might be your best bet!

I hope your daughter's first trip is magical!
