I will be traveling to Disney in June 2012 with a 7, 5 and 2 year old. I haven't been to Disney since 1999. What are some things that I definately don't want to miss or schedule?

It is a pleasure to welcome you back to the Happiest Place on Earth. You and your young ones are going to have such a great time. I think the best place to start is always the Magic Kingdom. With the thrills of Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, the adventures aboard the Jungle Cruise, or the timeless joy of flying aboard Dumbo the Flying Elephant, your whole group will be caught up in the magic.  You will not want to miss taking the little ones to meet their favorite characters. My personal experience is to not rush your kids into meeting the characters. I have a photo of my daughter meeting Goofy and she is not happy. Take your time and see if your child is ready to interact with the characters. Luckily, the characters are so wonderful that they are happy to simply wave to a child, knowing it will brighten their day. If your children are ready, then the photos you take will enhance your trip so much. You might want to look into is the pre-pay options associated with the Disney PhotoPass Pre-visit offer. This tip alone will make any trip to Walt Disney World more amazing. In addition to all the great attractions, you will find so many other treasures to keep both the young and the young at heart eager for more. Have a great time on your trip.
