Traveling to Disney in July 2014 with my husband, 2 daughters, my best friend, her husband & 2 daughters. We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Can we request that our rooms be close together? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Amy!

My family loves bringing along extra friends and family to share in our magical vacations.  It makes the celebration even better!  You can absolutely request for your rooms to be close and even link your reservations together.  Although you will see the opportunity to make room requests through your online check-in, I recommend calling a Disney Reservation Specialist Cast Member ahead of time, to make sure they link the reservations and note the request in their system.  You will love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.  It is very charming!  I highly recommend a horse-drawn carriage ride on the banks of the Sassagoula River.

For extra planning fun, you are now able to link your friends in the My Disney Experience Friends & Family list.  Once linked, you will be able to share plans, reservations and even photos with each other! For more great tips and information on how the new My Disney Experience makes your vacation even better, visit the Frequently Asked Questions page on the Walt Disney World website.

Have a wonderful vacation! July will be here before you know it. Please stop back by if there is anything else we can help you plan along the way.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family: graduations, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon. I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
