We are traveling to Disney in January. My concern is our return trip to the airport using Magical Xpress. We have a family of 7 with 2 special needs members. Is it possible to request being picked up earlier so that we have more time at the airport? Thx!

    Hi Katie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney's Magical Express is a fantastic benefit of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. We especially love the complimentary luggage delivery service!

If you are departing on a domestic flight, Disney's Magical Express service will pick you up approximately three hours prior to your scheduled flight time. The day prior to your departure, you will receive a transport notice delivered to your resort hotel room. That notice will include your exact departure time on one of Disney's Magical Express motorcoaches.

Since my husband has a mobility disability, it takes us longer to navigate the airport and the parks. Three hours has always been enough time for us to get to the airport and through security. We often have time to grab a bite to eat as well. If you still need additional time, I suggest that you speak with a cast member at the Lobby Concierge desk at your resort hotel. They have helped us with Disney's Magical Express Transportation in the past. If you have other questions, I suggest calling 407-939-1936.

Katie, I do hope you have reviewed the Walt Disney World Resort Services for Guests with Disabilities. Since my husband cannot stand for long periods of time, the Disability Access Service has been AMAZING. It allows us to get return times for certain rides and attractions and we can use it in addition to Fast Pass+.

I am sending pixie dust your way trusting your family will have a magical adventure!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
