Hi Brandy!
Your family is going to be absolutely blown away by the magic at the
Walt Disney World Resort, and I am sure that you want to have enough time to experience everything! My general rule, especially for families that have never been, is to plan to spend at least one day in each park. Personally, we like to have five days to visit the parks and tickets with the Park Hopper Option. This allows us to visit the four theme parks, and then have an extra day left to go back and do something we may have missed. The Park Hopper Option also allows us to be flexible with where we go each day, so we can fit as much magic into our days as possible. This means if we want to start the morning in one park, go to dinner in another park, then end up watching fireworks at a third park, we can!
Also, make sure to take advantage of
FastPass+, and if you are staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, make sure to check out
Extra Magic Hours. FastPass+ and Extra Magic Hours can both help you maximize your time in the parks! I also highly recommend downloading the
My Disney Experience mobile app where you can make your FastPass+ selections and advanced dining reservations, and even check park hours, showtimes, wait times, and so much more! It will help you keep your vacation conveniently organized! No matter how long you stay at the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm sure it will be perfectly magical!
Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
