We are traveling to Disney in a couple weeks with our boys. We have a 4,6,13 and 16 year old. Which park would best suit all of them? We may only have 1 day.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Robyn!

I am over-the-moon excited that you will soon be enjoying the Disneyland Resort with your whole family! Both parks have lots to do for Guests of all ages including exciting attractions and unique character meet and greets. This is why I always suggest that folks purchase the Park Hopper option when buying their tickets. With a Park Hopper, you can experience both parks on the same day. The parks are mere steps away from each other so it’s incredibly easy to hop back and forth. Your little ones might love “a bug’s land” and meeting Spider-Man and Captain America in Disney California Adventure Park while your teenagers have a blast on thrill rides like Space Mountain and Indiana Jones Adventure in Disneyland Park.

If you want to devote your time to one park only, then I absolutely recommend Disneyland Park. No visit to the Disneyland Resort is complete without visiting Walt Disney’s original theme park and getting to see the lovely Sleeping Beauty Castle. Plus with tons of attractions that the whole family can ride together, great entertainment like the Pixar Play Parade and the Together Forever — A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular, and fabulous dining options like Blue Bayou Restaurant and the Plaza Inn, you can really have an amazing day in this park alone. To maximize your time, add Disney MaxPass to your tickets. MaxPass allows you to make digital FASTPASS selections on your mobile device through the Disneyland app which saves you tons of time. Plus, you get downloads of all your PhotoPass photos taken on any day that you use MaxPass.

I hope this helps! See ya real soon!
