We will be traveling with our children and my parents. Since my parents are not staying the whole time we have two separate reservations. For the App should I create their own account and friend them or should I add their reservation to my account?

Howdy Kevin!  Thank you for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love vacations with extended family!  There is a little more planning involved when you have a multi-generational vacation but the effort is definitely worth the priceless memories!  Since you have two reservations, I have found it easier to add the reservation to my “My Disney Experience” when I have brought family that did not have a smart phone or were not interested in dealing with the technology part.  That way when you reserve your FastPass + and Advance Dining Reservation you can adjust the number for the days you will have your parents and for the days you will not.  I have also had each member in my party create their own account and added them as friends.  It is really up to which way is easier for your parents and you.

Since you are going on a multi-generational vacation, I would highly recommend adding Memory Maker to your reservation.  If you link your reservations you will only need to purchase Memory Maker once and everyone in your party will be able to capture those unforgettable memories.  There is also no limit on the amount of photos you can take.

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here before you know it, Kevin!  If you have any more questions, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love to help!
