    Michele from FL Asked

I am traveling with a child with PKU. I understand that Disney will provide a meal that will meet his needs. However, I am unsure how to request such meals in advance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michele!

My son has multiple food allergies and the Chefs and Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort have always done a fantastic job of making sure he has a safe and tasty meal while also feeling included and special during our dining experiences! The Special Dietary Request Team will be able to help coordinate your visit to see Mickey and friends with your little Mouseketeer with Phenylketonuria (PKU). You can go ahead and make of your dining reservations and then contact them by email at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com at least 14 days prior to your trip. They will be able to help you coordinate with the Chefs at each of the restaurants you are planning on enjoying so he will have safe meals. They can also answer any questions you have about traveling to Walt Disney World Resort while safely managing PKU.

Please let us know if you have any other questions! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
