I will be traveling alone to Disney World for the first time. I'm wondering what would be the most cost efficient place to stay? I'll be gone most of the time from the hotel, so I won't need much more than a comfy bed. Any other suggestions for the trip?

    Hello Jane,

What a treat it will be to visit Walt Disney World on your own. You would be surprised by how relaxing a solo trip to the happiest place on Earth can be.

While no resort on Disney property is seen as "no frills," I would say that the Disney Value Resorts offer a great experience for those that are on a budget. While our favorite is Disney's Pop Century Resort, our second and most affordable favorite is the All-Star Movies Resort. The prices are reasonable, the rooms are beautiful and if you are a movie lover, you will thoroughly enjoy walking around the grounds and spotting some of your favorite Disney stars.

Also, all of the Value Resorts are located in the Animal Kingdom area, so if you have some free time, be sure to visit Discovery Island. The Tree of Life is awe-inspiring and the Discovery Island Trails provide a relaxing environment.

I hope this answered your question, Jane. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask us at anytime. I hope you have a wonderful, pixie dust filled stay at Walt Disney World!
