    Natalie from FL Asked

I am traveling with 2 adults and 2 children. How much money should I allow for each day. We have the meal plan that includes 2 meals and a snack.

Since you're on the dining plan, Natalie, it's entirely possible to get by spending only a minimum amount of "extra" cash each day, it'll all just depend on how you plan to enjoy your vacation.  When my family is on the dining plan, we typically opt to eat breakfast in our room (think along the lines of cereal, bananas, and applesauce).  We then usually use our counter service meal for lunch, which doesn't cost us a thing.  You can opt for a treat in the afternoon and use your snack credit for that.  The other option would be to use your snack credit for a pastry in the morning, thus making breakfast free, too!  At dinner, you'll need to budget for a tip (15-20% of what the meal would cost).  That amount will really vary depending upon where you eat and what you order, but I would think that for a family of four budgeting twenty dollars per meal for tip would ensure that you're covered (and often times it would be much less than that).  Tip would likely be even less if you opt to use your table service credit during lunch hours when prices are typically a bit less than during dinner.  Other costs you'll want to factor in include souvenirs and any special tours or experiences you might want to do.  I hope that gives you an idea on budgeting for your upcoming trip!
