For those who have traveled to wdw with an infant what are some things you brought that you couldn't have done without or wish you had brought? We are traveling to wdw in Dec with a 10 mo old

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Danielle!

    What a great question!

My very FIRST trip to Walt Disney World was with our 5-month-old and 3 1/2-year-old in tow, so I know how important it is for you to come equipped for the best day ever!

First, plan to use WDW's Baby Care Centers, as they have outstanding facilities for all of your baby needs. You'll find even more useful tips on the post regarding Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones, where you'll find Preschool Parent's Guide to Walt Disney World Resort, among other helpful posts.

Next, think through your entire day/night in a park: be sure to have what you'll need for an extended stay. We brought 1-2 head-to-toe changes of clothes, each in a zippered plastic bag, so that either parent could grab a bag and change the baby whenever needed. That zippered bag is great for keeping used clothing apart from clean items. A second or third of everything that is essential (pacifier, pacifier clip, bottle, bottle liners, bib, jacket, socks, hat, blanket, etc) can be tucked into a bag, too, so that if something goes missing, your day can still go on as planned.

My favorite accessory, though, was our stroller. We had one with a deep storage compartment, ensuring that we had everything we'd need with us at all times. Ours featured a clear, heavy-duty plastic cover, too, so when it rained, both the baby and our gear stayed dry; it helps to keep the warmth in should temps fall to a cooler level while touring, especially in the early morning or evening. Use a clip to keep toys/pacifiers attached to the stroller, too, so that nothing gets tossed and lost as you tour.

Send more questions as you plan, Danielle; we love to help!
