If I travel with family on a magic your way package, room, 4 day one park tickets, meals, can one person, not the whole group, pay to upgrade to an Annual Pass at the gate? And would it just be the difference from a 4 day one park price to the listed AP pr

    Hi Terri,

So glad you could join us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A January vacation is an excellent way to escape the northern cold.

A Magic Your Way Vacation Package is the best way to enjoy Walt Disney World Resort. Not only you get to some great benefits for staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, but you can include options such as Theme Park Tickets and even a Disney Dining Plan.

If you will be visiting the Resort a few times during the year, then an Annual Pass is a good choice. Not only it saves you money on Theme Park Tickets for multiple visits, but include additional benefits like Disney PhotoPass Downloads, and valuable discounts on dining, merchandise and more.

To answer your question, absolutely. You can upgrade any of your Theme Park Tickets included with your vacation package to an Annual Pass, and apply the cost. Make sure you visit Guest Relations at the entrance of any of the Theme Parks, or in Disney Springs. The cost will vary depending on the current prices of tickets and the Annual Pass you select. Based on the current prices, to upgrade an adult, ages 10+, 4-Day 1 Park Per Day Ticket ($346.13) to a Disney Platinum Pass ($797.69), the cost should be approximately $451.56.

Your vacation is a few months away, but just keep planning... just keep planning...

    Ricardo.
