I want to travel to Disney in August 2010. Most likely Aug 17 - 18 to Aug 25. Will there be any promotions during this time? What are the crowds and weather like during this time? I have a 11, 4 and 2 year old. Any suggestions! Thank you!

Hi Jason. We have gone to Walt Disney World in August/ September for the past three years and love going at that time of year. It's a great way to end summer vacation, and we love the hot weather. For these past three years, we have enjoyed the free Disney Dining Plan during this time of year. Although we do not yet know what specials, if any, will be offered next August, for the past few years, free dining has been offered beginning around mid August. This is a great offer, and as a result, it can be quite busy. In August. temperatures have an average low of 74 degrees and an average high of 92 degrees. It tends to get quite humid, and often storms for brief periods in the afternoons, so be sure to bring a rain poncho with you!

Hope this helps! Write us back with any other questions you might have as you plan your magical vacation!
