Trattoria al Forno is a hard breakfast reservation to get! I check daily and was offered 11:55. Will we still get a good character experience with such a late reservation? Also, how long of a walk is it from the international gateway in Epcot? Thank you!

    Hi Lisa,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Congratulations on securing a reservation for the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno, they can be tough to find!

I love booking breakfast reservations close to the end of breakfast hours, I find it allows for a nice and relaxed start to our day and we can enjoy a slower paced meal, since we are usually some of the last guests in the restaurant.  If you have booked the breakfast dining experience, don’t worry, you will still be able to enjoy the character appearances, no matter what time it is, as it is part of the dining experience.  We have dined at Trattoria al Forno several times near the end of breakfast hours and have never felt rushed or short changed with the characters.  For us it has actually been the opposite.  Since we are one of the last remaining guests, the characters have spent more time with my daughter.  One of my favourite memories is of her and Flynn Rider trying to figure out a better spot to hide Rapunzel’s tiara since he had been carrying it around in his satchel all morning.

In terms of the walk from Epcot International Gateway to Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, depending on how quickly you walk, it could take anywhere between 10 -15 minutes.  The walk is relatively short, and full of beautiful sights along the way.

I hope you enjoy your breakfast, Lisa.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
