What do you do on the transfer resort day during a split stay? Have 1 scheduled w/ bc & cs but never did it before. How easy is it to transfer luggage?

    Howdy Michelle!

Welcome back!  We're thrilled that you're finding our vacation planning advice helpful as you chart out your Walt Disney World adventure.   My family often splits our Disney vacations between 2 different Disney Resort hotels.  I'm happy to share our experience with transferring between Resorts.

On the day you plan on moving Resort hotels, you can pack up your luggage and call Bell Services from your Resort Guest room.   Let them know you are transferring Resorts and need to have your luggage transferred.   A Cast Member will come to your room with luggage tags and ask you what hotel you are transferring to.   I always recommend you keep a small bag handy packed with anything you may need for the day as luggage transfer does not happen till around 3 P.M. Once the Cast Member tags your belongings and takes them for you, you can simply head over to your new Resort and check-in.   When you check-in advise the Cast Member at the front desk that you have bags being transferred from another Disney Resort.  Once the luggage arrives a Cast Member usually calls your room to see if someone is available to accept the luggage.   Unlike baggage delivery from the Magical Express, Guests do have to be in the room to have the luggage delivered.   If you are not in your room you can simply stop by the Bell Service desk after 3 P.M. and check on the status of your bags.  It's a very simple process and one I hope you find smooth and easy to use.

Thanks again for stopping  by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question.  If you need any other help just let us know.

    Have a Tiggerific Day,
