can I transfer my reservation to my travel agent

    Welcome aboard, Heather!

Booking your Disney Cruise Line vacation through a travel agent can sometimes bring great perks offered by that particular agency. I book through a friend of mine who is a travel agent, not because I need help planning my cruises, but because I enjoy the extra onboard credits that she offers by booking through her. It can really be a win-win! I then use that credit toward Port Adventures, purchases in the gift shops, gratuities, or Adult Exclusive dining which I'd be enjoying anyway, so I might as well get credit to do so!

If you already have a reservation, give your travel agent a call with the details to see if they can transfer the reservation. As long as the reservation hasn't yet been paid in full, and if it was made through Disney Cruise Line, or made onboard one of their ships within the last 30 days, it should be transferable. Since the way to do this varies by travel agency, you'll need to contact yours to get specifics, Heather.

I found out about the 30 day onboard booking transfer the hard way, after forgetting to add my travel agent when I booked our next sailing with Disney while onboard our current sailing. When I finally remembered, the time had passed, so I didn't get to take advantage of using a travel agent for that next cruise, but now I know! Always be prepared! I keep her agency information in my phone now so I can add her as our agent even when I'm booking onboard while at sea.

Have such fun planning this exciting vacation at sea, Heather!
