At Toyko Dining, what is included in the Disney Dining Plan?

    Hi Melanie,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I have a reservation for Tokyo Dining for my upcoming Walt Disney World vacation and I'm really looking forward to the experience. I think the Disney Dining Plans offer a convenient way to enjoy delicious meals all around Walt Disney World in a way that best fits your vacation dining style. If you're familiar with the Disney Dining Plan options, you might already know that the Disney Dining Plan includes 1 entrée, 1 dessert, and 1 beverage, and the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan includes 1 appetizer, 1 entrée, 1 dessert, and 1 beverage. Keep in mind an alcoholic beverage may only be ordered by Guests 21 and older. So the question is — how does that work with a dining experience like Tokyo Dining? If you look at the Tokyo Dining Dinner Menu, you'll see the sections for Appetizers, Soup & Salad, Sashimi, Nigiri Sushi (One piece), and Sushi Roll all followed by sections for entrées and then desserts and then beverages. In general, the sushi is considered an appetizer. So for example, with a Disney Deluxe Dining Plan that includes an appetizer, you could make an appetizer selection from the Appetizers, Soup & Salad, Sashimi, Nigiri Sushi (One piece), or Sushi Roll sections, and then choose your entrée, dessert, and beverage from the their sections. You can always check with your server for additional information and options on using a Disney Dining Plan.

Melanie, here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation.

    Enjoy your Disney!
