Are towels provided for free at typhoon lagoon if you are a resort guest?

Hey there, Cary. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is one of my all time favorite ways to cool down while in sunny Florida on a Walt Disney World vacation. It's so much fun. I think you'll be happy to know that as a resort Guest towels at both Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park are complimentary. You'll just need to head to the towel rental kiosk at either park to pick them up.

If you are looking for a treat while you are at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, I've always loved grabbing something from Happy Landings Ice Cream. Ever since I was a little girl, they've had the Sand Pail on the menu. It's chocolate and vanilla soft-serve ice cream, waffle cone pieces, oreo cookie pieces, sprinkles, hot fudge, caramel sauce, creamy topping and a cherry all served up to you in a real sand pail complete with a shovel for a spoon. Delicious! After you enjoy your treat, you can clean your pail out in the bathroom and use it the rest of the day to play in the sand. It's so fun.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
