Are there and tour/ animal feeding offerings for guests of animal kingdom lodge besides the nighttime safari?

    Hello, Jennifer!

Animal Kingdom Lodge is an amazing Resort Hotel filled with activities for all ages. During our last stay, my father, son and nieces enjoyed using night vision goggles to view the animals on the Uzima Savannah. Here are a few of the activities currently available to Guests:

~ Savannah Guides: You will find several Guides posted around the savannahs ready to share their knowledge of the wildlife or answer your questions. My son had many questions when he saw animal handlers feeding the giraffes. The Guide was very informative about diet and preferences and was happy to answer all of his questions.

~ Flamingo Feeding: If you ever wanted to know more about the feeding of these beautiful birds, then make sure you attend this no cost activity. Animal handlers do the feeding and guests are welcome to watch.

~ Animal Tracking: Learn how Animal Specialists use animals' tracks to learn about more information about them.

~ Dine with an Animal Specialist: This special lunch at Sanaa restaurant is limited to 12 Guests age eight years of age or older. You will feast on 4-course Africa-inspired meal while you learn from an Animal Specialist about wildlife habitats, care and research. Reservations can be made by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.

When you arrive, be sure to check the Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort Recreation Activities Guide for exact times and other opportunities available during your visit. Keep in mind that activities are subject to change without notice.
