We totally missed out on Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom when we visited WDW a couple weeks ago! The kids loved agents p's world showcase adventure and also getting badges in Animal Kingdom. Are there interactive things like this in Disneyland?

    Hi, Jennifer!

I’m happy to hear you’re planning a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! Although the Disneyland Resort doesn’t offer Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P's World Showcase Adventure, I think your kids would love the Discover the Magic Tour, which encourages families to seek out adventure as they piece together clues to solve a scavenger hunt-style puzzle in Disneyland Park. Included with this tour is a colorful lanyard adorned with an engraved medallion. You can call (714) 781-TOUR (8687) to book this experience up to one month in advance.

Another fun (and free!) activity is to collect the full set of six Cars Land buttons available at Disney California Adventure Park. Cast Members will put your kids’ trivia knowledge to the test to earn each one! Disney Pin Trading is also one of my favorite ways to make visits to Disney Parks even more fun and engaging. It’s an easy way to enhance your family’s park experiences! Simply find a Cast Member wearing a pin trading lanyard, ask if you can see his or her pins, find a pin you’d like to trade for, and trade your pin for the Cast Member’s. You can purchase pins at the resort shops or in advance online. We usually buy a few inexpensive pins or a multi-pack in advance so our 3-year-old son can pin trade with Cast Members as soon as our Disneyland Resort vacation begins.

I hope this helps, Jennifer. Please feel free to write back to me with any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
