I have a total party of 8 that will be going to the Magic Kingdom next month. My husband uses DAS due to his condition. My question is can guest services accomadate our party of 8 for DAS even though the max amount if 6 people?

Hey there, Krystel! It sounds like you have a great trip planned to the Magic Kingdom theme park next month with the whole gang going. Some of my favorite trips are when my whole family can get together at the park.

The Disability Access Service Card is a way for guests who have different abilities to still enjoy many of the experiences at Walt Disney World that they night not otherwise be able to. Walt Disney World has an unwavering commitment to provide an inclusive environment, and that means making it so that guests have access to the widest variety of experiences.

Although the rule is generally that the DAS card is available for the person who needs it and up to five accompanying family members, there is a chance you can have your whole party accommodated. When you are at Guest Services to get your DAS card, explain to the cast member that there are eight people in your party. They may be able to gain permission for all of you to be included. I highly recommend that everyone in your party go to Guest Services when you get the DAS card.

In the meantime, as much as you can, utilize the FastPass+ system for everyone in your party. This works great in combination with the DAS card. If you use them in combination, your family should be able to get quite a bit in during your visit.

    Have a magical time, Krystel!
