    Marlo from IN Asked

We're torn between a December stay at POR and the Fort Wilderness cabins. Which would you choose for a family of five?

Well, Marlo, either resort can easily accommodate your family of five and both are considered moderate level resorts.  The deciding factor for me is that you're visiting in December.  For that reason, I'd opt for a stay at the Fort Wilderness cabins.  The cabins are like cozy little log houses; they offer privacy and so many of the same amenities of a vacation home (full kitchen, separate sleeping area, etc).  Furthermore, holiday happenings around the fort (think sleigh rides through the campground) make this resort the perfect choice for a holiday trip.  And don't forget to bring your decorations; Fort Wilderness campers set up gorgeous holiday displays.  Enjoy!
