We took my brother to magic kingdom yesterday and got him a one day pass. Can this be used to upgrade to an annual pass as the downpayment? When I asked online they didnt know the answer because they said we needed to go to the ticket booth.

    Hi, Blair!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for the great question.

The value of a Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket can typically be used as credit when purchasing a new Annual Pass. However, this can only be done while the ticket is still valid. If you purchased your brother a 1-day theme park ticket and he already used it for admission yesterday, you would have had to visit the ticket booths while the ticket was active and upgrade to an Annual Pass before that day was over.

I hope this information helps, Blair. Please feel free to write back with any other questions you may have!

    Wishing you magic,
