    Cory from ME Asked

I've been told there is a difference between a portable crib and regular crib at the resorts by other guests. However, when I call Disney they tell me they only offer the regular crib. Are they referring to a pack & play as a portable crib? Thanks

    Hi there, Cory!

Most of the cribs available at Walt Disney World are the Pack 'n' Play variety of crib - the ones that fold up and store away in the closet or under the bed. You may in rare instances come across an actual crib - although portable size, so not as wide or as long as one you might have at home - at some of the Walt Disney World resort hotels, but these are few and far between, as the Pack 'n' Plays are used most often at this point.

The cribs (Pack 'n' Play) are complimentary for resort guests, however, I recommend requesting one on your reservation. This way they will know ahead of time, and they may be able to get it to your room a bit more quickly than if you request it at check in. The cribs are available on a first come, first served basis.

If you need a regular crib, there are area places that do rent them. They can deliver them to your resort and pick up when you are finished.

Have an absolutely magical vacation, Cory!
