We have Tokyo Dining Reservations at 9:30 on New Year's Eve. What are the chances we'll be able to get window seating? Since it will be so crowded will the view from inside the restaurant be blocked from those on the balcony?

    Hiya Philip!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  As you know, New Year's Eve is a very popular night at Walt Disney World, and it is extremely popular at Epcot's World Showcase.  Tokyo Dining is a fantastic venue that offers a bit of a unique view of the New Year's Countdown Fireworks.  Your view won't be completely unobstructed, as there will be treetops and guests on the balcony, but you do have a chance of getting a window seat.  Checking in at the recommended 15-20 minutes before your seating time will also help those chances, as will asking the host or hostess at check-in for that special request.

The good news is that even if you don't have a window seat, you'll still have a view of the show...it'll just be a bit further away.

Wishing you a magical New Year!
