we have a toddler 2.5 years old. He is tall like 40". Is he allowed to ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine train, because he does meet the height requirements but he is young. And can we leave the park for 3 hours for his nap in hotel and return after that?

    Hi Liubov!

As the moms to two little guys, I know how magical it is to explore Walt Disney World Resort with little ones! Both of my boys were so excited when they were finally tall enough to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train for the first time. To them, it was such a "big kid" attraction and when they were finally big enough, they both giggled during the entire ride!

The requirement for your little one to enjoy Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is that he must be at least 38 inches tall. So since your little guy meets the height requirement, he can ride the attraction. However, every little one is mature enough for "big kid" attractions at different times. So I recommend that you watch videos of the attraction with him before your vacation to give him an idea of what he can expect and so you can gauge his interest. I always use videos to introduce new attractions to my boys so they feel more comfortable during their first experience. Also, I recommend that you plan on enjoying The Barnstormer before your trip on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train to get your little guy used to the feeling of being on a roller coaster. Both of those will help you ensure that your little guy is ready to enjoy a trip on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!

Standard theme park tickets will allow you to leave the theme park and reenter the same theme park on the same day. Keep in mind that there are a few extremely busy days of the year where the park may fill to capacity and you aren't guaranteed reentry. But as long as you avoid Christmas Day, July 4th and the other extremely busy days, then taking your little guy back to your hotel for a nap is the perfect way to ensure that he has the energy for a fantastic evening at the theme parks!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
