I have a toddler who does not meet the height requirement for several of the rides so I plan on taking advantage of the ride swap. Do you know how many guests can go on with the 2nd rider of the swap? I am seeing conflicting information Thank-you

Hello, Cindy! I’m so glad to hear that you found the Disney Parks Moms Panel and have questions about Rider Switch. I absolutely ADORE this system that lets me enjoy my favorite attractions and not miss out on anything due to having a baby! I use Rider Switch on every family vacation, and now my extended family knows exactly how to use it, too!

My family of four visits Walt Disney World Resort often, and though my son loves to ride Splash Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, my baby girl is not yet big enough to enjoy those attractions. We walk up to the front of the attraction as a family, and ask for Rider Switch. My son and husband are given a pass to hold onto and hop into line (we often combine Rider Switch and FastPass+). Once they have enjoyed the ride, they find me and my daughter and hand that Rider Switch Pass to me. Since I waited alone with the baby, I get to take one other party member along with me to ride. This means my son (that lucky duck!) gets to enjoy many rides with each parent. In other instances, I might wait with the baby and my Mom, and then Mom and I get a girl’s trip to relax on Soarin’ together.

So, the direct answer to your query is that 1 other guest can go with the initial chaperone to ride for Rider Switch. Choose wisely… which family member gets a special, second go-round with you? Send those other party members with the toddler to grab an Orange Bird Citrus Swirl in Adventureland… and then send me one, too! Enjoy your magical vacation! ~ Lindsey P.
