Today it is 60 days until our arrival. I tried to make FastPass selections today at 5am and some of the attractions were already out of FastPasses for the day. How is that possible?

    Hey Fred!

I completely understand your frustration. My 60th day is today as well. I also missed out on a few FastPass+ selections I really wanted. Here are a few reason which you couldn't get all the selections your wanted:

    1. Since guests can make their FastPass+ selection for the length of their stay, those who have check-in dates prior to yours could have taken the selections you wanted. Say your check-in date is 11/15 and you are staying until 11/20 yet someone else checks in 11/14 and is staying until 11/21, they will have first dibs on your 11/20 selections as they can begin making their selections one day prior to you.
    2. The FastPass+ selection window opens at Midnight. Many people actually stay up late on the night of the 61st day to begin making their selection when the clock strikes Midnight. You might be surprised at how many people employ this tactic to get the times and experiences they want.
    3. This year most of the month of November is part of the 'Free Dining' promotion. This mean Guests who typically stay off property are moving to on-property resort to take advantage of this promotion, thereby having the ability to make their FastPass+ selections at 60 day as opposed to the 30 day mark for off-property guests.

Sorry I couldn't be more exact. However, if you any more questions about Disney's FastPass+ service or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
