Any tips for using the Ticket and Tran Center Parking Facilities? This will be our first time staying off property and driving in. We plan to park hop everyday so I assumed parking at TCC would be the best plan? Love you panel! :)

Hi, Mary! It's a pleasure to chat with you again. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner now. So exciting! Since my family lives just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, we always need to have a parking strategy. I'm happy to share how we approach parking at the Theme Parks.

Generally, I'd only park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) on days you're visiting the Magic Kingdom Park. You can also catch the monorail to Epcot from here, but if you're starting your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom, you have to travel to the Magic Kingdom first, then board a bus from there. By the time you park the car, ride the parking tram to the TTC, take a ferry or monorail to the Magic Kingdom entrance, then catch a bus to the other Park, you've spent an awful lot of travel time. Going straight to your first Park and just parking there is much easier than dealing with TTC.

Alternatively, since you're hopping you might consider leaving your car at the last Park you'll be visiting for the day. Again, it may mean some additional travel time early in your day, but you may find it pays off at the end of the evening when you're ready to head out. This is especially helpful if your last Park is open much later than the others.

I hope this helps you plan your days, Mary. If you need any more suggestions, please stop by and see us again. Wishing you a joyous holiday and a magical Walt Disney World vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
