Are there any tips on how to make my trip to Disneyland memorable for my daughters 15th birthday on December 23? Someone told me that you get a free entry when it is your birthday and I was wondering if that was true?

Hi, Claudia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!

I am so excited that you will be celebrating your daughter's 15th birthday at the Happiest Place on Earth! While she won't get in for free on her birthday, there are still plenty of ways to make her day special. First, stop by City Hall in Disneyland Park to pick up her complimentary birthday button. Cast Members will wish her happy birthday throughout the day when they see her wearing this button. Next, prioritize her favorite attractions so you know where to head to first and pull a FASTPASS for any attractions that offer it. You might also consider upgrading to the Disney MaxPass option so you can select FASTPASSES quickly and easily on your phone from anywhere in the parks.

Make a dining reservation at a special restaurant for lunch or dinner. Blue Bayou Restaurant and Carthay Circle Restaurant are my top picks for elegant meals in breathtaking surroundings. You can even order a custom birthday cake and have it delivered to your table. Call (714) 781-3463 at least three days in advance to order your cake.

Finally, end the day by watching the "Believe...in Holiday Magic" Fireworks or World of Color - Season of Light. You could even opt for the World of Color Dessert Party that provides you with a plate of scrumptious treats while you watch the show from a reserved seating area.

Wishing your daughter an early happy birthday and I hope you both have a wonderful time at the Disneyland Resort!
