Any tips with taking a 7 month old to Disney for the first time? We will be staying for 4 days ( 2 park days total) at Port Orleans Riverside.

Hi Samantha! Your question makes my heart so happy! My son was 9 months old during his 1st visit and it was one of our most memorable and magical vacations!

You have selected a wonderful Resort hotel for your little one's first visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Boatwright's Dining Hall has countless wonderful options if you plan to spend a lot of time at your Resort hotel. When we were at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, one of my favorite times during the day to be at the Resort hotel was during the afternoon. It was beautiful, very quiet, and was perfect for nap time!

When you are out and about, be sure you have a small blanket or towel with you. Use it to cover your stroller when you are inside an attraction. The warm Florida sun can make the stroller very hot on your little one's skin. When not being used to cover the stroller, the blanket will be great for nap time or late in the evening.

The most important tip I can share with you is to seek out the Baby Care Centers. Located within all 4 theme parks, they are climate controlled and are the perfect place to change, feed or nurse your kiddo. In each of the Baby Care Centers, you will find a friendly Cast Member, private nursing room, changing room with tables, feeding area with highchairs, kitchen area with microwave, oven and sink, and a small shop with your basic baby needs such as diapers, baby food, wipes, and more. On more than one occasion, we scurried out of our Resort hotel room without a baby essential. The Baby Care Centers were life savers! They are also a wonderful location if you find your little one needs a short break from the hustle and bustle of the theme park. There is a main room with a television, couch and chairs where you can take a quick break and then get back to the magic of your day.

Enjoy every magical moment and make sure you take oodles of pictures!
