Any tips for a Disney world vacation for a family of 15? My family is finally traveling all together to Disney for Christmas and New Year's. We have 11 of us over 18, a toddler, two children under 9, and a young teen.

    Hi Samantha,

Trips to Walt Disney World with large traveling parties can be so much fun. It is great to have so many different people with whom to share the magic!

Do be sure to make Disney FastPass+ selections. Especially because you are going during a busy time of year, being able to experience some attractions with reduced wait times will be a great advantage. In order to make Disney FastPass+ selections, be sure that you have tickets purchased and linked in your My Disney Experience account.

Also, I suggest that you make dining reservations as early as you can. For a party as large as yours, it will be important to have reservations for restaurants at which you want to eat. You can explore the options for dining at Walt Disney World online. You can also make reservations by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).

A final suggestion that I have for you to consider as you plan, and this will impact how you use your Disney FastPass+ selections and how you make your dining reservations, is to think about allowing your party to split up for part of each day. With such a large age span and so many people, you are likely to have different interests at the theme parks. Perhaps you can have breakfast together and experience some attractions that everyone wants to in the morning, and then around lunchtime you can split up for the afternoon so that anyone who wants to can rest, and others might be able to explore more adventurous attractions. At night, you can get back together for dinner and to enjoy nighttime fireworks.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Samantha!
