HI! Do you have any tips on the best way to plan our park visits with a 1 1/2 year old? We are arriving in Sept! Thank you very much!

    Hi, Rebecca!

Aw, I remember taking my Mouseketeers to Walt Disney World when they were little - such fabulous memories!  The best thing you can do is follow your child's lead.  Keep on nap schedules, sleeping schedules, and meal times.  It is hard to leave the parks in the evening when you know there is a whole night of magic left, but when you see your little angel asleep after a day in the parks, you will be glad you turned in early!

Make sure to bring a stroller with a sun shade, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, snack foods (like crackers, goldfish, stuff that will not melt) as well as all the basic baby needs like diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes.  I always found that getting to the parks early was best, when the lines are the shortest.  You will quickly discover your child's favorite attraction. I rode it's a small world countless times in a row when my daughter was that age!

You might want to plan a fun character meal, perhaps at Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends or at Chef Mickey's with Mickey and his pals.  This is a wonderful way to get photos with several Disney friends without having to wait in lines.

Each park has a Baby Care Center.  These are great for diaper changes and feedings.  You will love the convenience and cleanliness of these locations.

Take your camera and take LOTS of pictures as you are going to want to capture all the magic and fun with your little one!   Have a super time in Walt Disney World!
