What's the tipping protocol at DW? Who do you tip and how much? I have the deluxe dining plan, are tips included? Housekeeping?

    Hello Kevin,

There is no set rules for gratuities at Disney. But just as it was told to Pinocchio, let your conscience be your guide.

While Disney is the most magical place on earth, I still use some basic every day theories when it comes to tipping.

In the past, people at Disney I have shared tips with include:
    • Cast Members at Disney Restaurants. Exception service warrants 20% from my family. If they make my child happy, I may give them a little more!
    • Mousekeeping. I appreciate a clean Resort room. And I love that I don't have to tidy up my bathroom. I usually leave Mousekeeping $2-5 a night.
    • Bell Services. They keep my luggage when I arrive at the Resort and my room is not yet ready. And they watch over my belongings when I am getting ready to head home. My tip always depends on how many bags I am entrusting with them.
    • Disney Magical Express drivers. These men and women have my life literally in their hands. They are responsible for making sure I arrive on property with a smile on my face. If they succeed, they get a tip!
Needless to say, if I see a Cast Member doing a good deed, I say so! Or I reward them for their service with a tip. It's the least I can do for them.

    Hope this helps!
