do you tip for sitdown meaks when you have a dining plan?

    Hello Claudette!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question.   I hope you are having a blast making plans for your upcoming visit.  It's my pleasure to help answer your question about using one of the amazing Disney Dining Plans.

The Disney Dining Plans have always helped my family save money over paying out of pocket for meals.  We find it a great value especially if you plan on participating in Character Dining or Dinner Shows.   To answer your question gratuity is not included in the price of the meal at sit down restaurants.   The Disney Dining Plan will pay for the food, but you will be responsible for leaving a gratuity.  Gratuities can be paid in cash, Disney Gift Card, or by charging to your Disney Resort Hotel using your MagicBand.   Isn't that great?

I hope this has answered your question.  Please pop in again anytime you need further assistance.  All the Disney Parks Moms Panelists love to lend a helping hand every chance we get.

    Dream as Dreamers Do,
