What times of the year is it least expensive to take a Disney Cruise? We would like to experience a cruise on the Dream or Fantasy ships first. Thank you!

    Hi Theresa!

Thanks so much for sailing to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I'm so excited that you're thinking about taking your first voyage with Captain Mickey! All four vessels are incredible, but you won't regret choosing either the Disney Dream or Disney Fantasy for your inaugural sailing!

If your sail dates are flexible, I suggest looking into booking a cruise during the months of September, October, January or February. These months tend to be less expensive times to sail! Also, you will receive the best price and availability the more in advance you book your cruise. I recommend keeping an eye on the Special Rates and Offers, too! Here, Disney Cruise Line will display the current promotions being offered for future cruises. Another factor that can impact the total price of your cruise is the category of stateroom that you choose. There are four main categories of staterooms aboard each ship with varying price ranges. I recommend checking out each category to see which one fits into your family's budget best!

Theresa, I am beyond excited for you as you plan your first Disney Cruise! It was my pleasure answering your question. If you have any future questions, please don't hesitate to stop back and visit us again!

    Wishing you happy planning!
