How many times have each of you been? What resorts have you stayed at? What is your favorite? Do you purchase the Dining Plan? When do you recommend is the best time to go? What outside planning recources do you use? Online or Books?

Hi! Only one of us can answer a question so we can't all respond to you at once. You can ask each of us the same question individually by going to the "Meet the Moms" section of the Panel. In each of our biographies, you will see a button that says "Ask Erin (or Beatrice, or Beth, or Bret, or ...) a Question." Click here and you can ask each of us your questions one by one.

    So I'll answer for myself:

I have been to WDW a total of 25 times (I think. I may have missed one or two in my counting). I have stayed at All Star Sports, Port Orleans Riverside, Coronado Springs, Saratoga Springs, the Contemporary, the Beach Club, the Beach Club Villas, the Wilderness Lodge Villas, and the Grand Floridian.

I have never purchased the Dining Plan. Almost everyone else on the Panel has. The reason I have not is that I am a long-term Disney Vacation Club member and the Dining Plan only recently became available for DVC members to use.

The best time to go depends on what your needs are. The early fall is most budget friendly and least crowded. The late fall probably has the best weather. And many people think the Christmas season is the best because of the beautiful decorations. I myself have been to WDW in January, February, March, April, May, August, September, and December. From what I can tell, October would be a fantastic time to be at WDW, but my schedule has not allowed this thus far.

For planning help, the best two sources I have found over the years are the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World and allearsnet.com.. In my opinion, the Unofficial Guide is a must-buy for anyone going to WDW. It is easy to find in most US bookstores and libraries and on Amazon.com for about $20.00. I also LOVE the website allearsnet.com. This is a central hub for all things Disney. The articles are very well written and researched and the review section is quite informative.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask us more questions any time.
