What time of the year is the best time for better rates and less crowding?

    Hi Donald,

If small crowds and great prices on resort rooms are important to you then the best time to visit Walt Disney World is when the majority of American school children are in the classroom.  Mid-September to mid-November, late January, and most of February are super times to plan your next visit to the most magical place on earth. Avoid spring break and major holidays if at all possible. (Historically, these have been periods of high park attendance.)   Special promotions and free dining offers are often available at the times I mentioned above.  Keep an eye on the Special Offers page at if you're looking for a great deal on a Walt Disney World vacation.

Thanks so much for sending me your excellent question.

    Best wishes,
