1st time to WDW. We will be staying for 7 days. Taking 13year old son. FEAR/afraid of flying. Computer Geek. Likes puzzles, building stuff and GAMING. Doesn't like to go far from home. Doesn't like sports or scary rides. What is there to do for his age??

    Penny:

It sounds like you need to make plans to visit DisneyQuest at Downtown Disney! Imagine your son being able to play as many video and arcade games as he likes without having to plunk down quarter after quarter! (Granted, you do pay admission for this all-you-can-play buffet.) My sons LOVE to build their own roller coasters and try them out on CyberSpace Mountain. There are several virtual games like Aladdin's Carpet Ride that might be right up his alley.

If you're headed to Epcot, check out Innoventions. Sum of All Thrills allows you to build your own coaster, plane or snow mobile and then "ride" it in a simulator. The exhibits in both the East and West wings of Innoventions change more often than other attractions, which makes it seem new every time we visit. Additionally, as you exit Spaceship Earth, don't hurry out. As you exit the ride, you'll enter a large room that many do not take the time to explore. Virtual shuffleboard along with several other virtual games keep my boys--even my teenagers--happy.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
